Rhetoric

Logos is a fact-based form of persuasion. Its’ strength lies in reasoning and hopefully leading the reader to agree with the author and making the ‘right’ decision. Ethos rhetoric focuses on the self or individual. A common example of Ethos would be celebrity endorsements of products. Pathos is an emotion driven form of persuasion where the author hopes to draw the desired response from the reader by invoking certain emotions.
