Okay, so today I was just trying to clean out my video file on my mac and accidently deleted the entire thing. Now, that's not my mac's fault - it's mine. It just did what I told it to. So it's behaving, my fingers aren't. So I tried to just repair the install, and it ended up erasing and setting up a whole new install on my hard drive. That's probably a good thing due to the fact that I've been doing a ton of video and audio recording/editing lately and my hard drive was so fragmented that it was slowing down... But oh well. I will say this - the setup process is so much easier on the mac as opposed to the PC. It's so easy that if you've never set up a computer before or anything, you could do it and really not mess anything up at all... it's great!
Now I've got to go reinstall iWork, Office X and TechTool Deluxe (apple care protection plan)! and I've got everything working again too... my iChat, I did back up all my iTunes music last night, so that's good, and most of my videos are safe on my external HDD as well. The only ones I lost were the intro to the GIA and the Video Blog 3 for the Fisher's Landing Living Hope Blog site. Luckily I've still got the Video Blog material available on tape, so I can go through and re-do it, but unfortunately, I tapped over the GIA material (I think). Time to find out!

Yeah, re-taping of the GIA intro! Does that mean we lost all the Guy Insurance videos too? Looser
